This article will show you where to locate the files you have downloaded to your iPhone. The Files app probably has that important document you’re searching for – don’t be worried. The Photos app will normally display photos that have been saved from the web or another app. Within the Music app, you’ll find a Downloaded section where you can access the music you’ve downloaded from Apple. Here’s How to View Downloads on an iPhone.
How to Find Downloaded Files
Tap the Files app
The app can be accessed from the App Library on the home screen in the Productivity & Finance section of your App Library or by clicking on the icon from the App Library homepage.
- You are prompted to choose a location to save a file when tapping the Save to Files option. Depending on your settings, you can choose to save to On My iPhone, iCloud Drive, and possibly other cloud storage accounts. The file will appear in the Files app if you download it.
- The Photos app is where you will likely find a saved photo, an app, or a message you saved from the web, app, or message. You’re prompted to add photos when you save a photo. If you select Save to Files instead of adding the photo to your photos, your photo will not appear in the Photos application.
