Follow these steps.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD CINEBENCH

Try searching the App Store for Cinebench if you’re using a Mac. Look in the Microsoft Store if you’re running Windows. Maxon’s website is the direct source of downloads for users of either platform.

For Cinebench to work, your PC must have SSE3 support on an Intel or AMD 64-bit processor and have at least 4GB of RAM. Mac users should run macOS 10.13.16 or later; at least 4GB of RAM and a 640-bit processor are also required.

HOW TO RUN CINEBENCH

Run the program after it has been downloaded. In the top left corner, there are two Start buttons. Test your system’s multi-core capabilities by clicking the one next to CPU (Multi-Core) and CPU (Single Core) by clicking the one next to CPU (Multi-Core). It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete these tests.

When running the tests, you may wish to keep them going for up to 30 minutes to see whether your system maintains its performance over time. Choose File > Advanced Benchmark to do that. The Minimum Test Duration will be listed on the left side as a drop-down menu. Choose 30 minutes from the menu. Choose the test you wish to take.

If you want the most accurate score, check that no other program or background process runs while Cinebench runs. Make sure you have plugged in your hard drive. It is recommended to have any settings on your computer (power profiles, fan settings, etc.) set to the maximum.

HOW TO SEE YOUR CINEBENCH SCORE

A score will appear next to the start button you pressed earlier once your device has finished the test. Be patient, as it may take a while. Comparing your processor with similar chips will appear in Cinebench’s bottom-left corner.

But Cinebench only offers a single test and a single analysis. You don’t necessarily need to attribute a lower Cinebench score to a weaker computer just because it has a lower score. Users can see a wide range of performance variations on their computers depending on various factors, including raw CPU power.

However, Cinebench is still an excellent way to test the performance of your PC and determine if you need to address any performance issues.
